It may not be very warm right now, but we’re hoping for a bright and sunny spring season – one where vibrant colors fill the front yards and apartment windowsills of every millennial trying to fill a void.
Our favorite spots to dye our thumbs green? The Glow Garden Centre in Calgary – a pop-up shop with vegetables, supplies, seeds, and everything else you need to plant the flower bed of your dreams.

With wholesale prices, 4 locations across the city, and expert staff, this annual shopping event is familiar to many and beloved by plant enthusiasts and admirers – so we’d advise that you mark May 1st – their opening date on your calendars!
Much like last year, we can only assume that they’ll remain open until they run out of stock, so you’re going to want to head over as soon as they open.
