It’s official folks, the perfectly pink palace of make-up and skincare goodness is opening on Capitol Hill. You might remember a few weeks ago when we wrote about a rumor that Glossier was setting up shop on the hill. Well, that rumor was true and you’ll be able to shop the iconic store starting this week.

It was hard for the company to hide the fact that the store was opening despite waiting to make an official announcement. The glaringly obvious pink paint and tile gave it away to anyone who spends time on social media and wears makeup. But the inside does have some unexpected additions to blend into the PNW like a giant faux rock complete with mushrooms according to The Stranger.

Like other previous Glossier locations, you’ll be able to test and buy products, take selfies and of course, enjoy a perfectly curated interior. It’s sure to be an aesthetically pleasing experience that everyone will enjoy, including your partner that you dragged along to wait in line with you for hours.

The Stranger also reported that Molly Moon’s Ice Cream would be teaming up with the makeup brand to create a “bespoke Glossier flavor”. The flavor will be sold across the street at the Capitol Hill Molly Moon’s location for the first month that the Glossier store is open. We can only assume that the ice cream will be pink and who knows what Glossier tastes like…

To remind everyone that you shopped at the Seattle store, you’ll be able to pick up some Seattle-exclusive merch. The nice part about that is the fact that some of the proceeds go toward the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority. And you’ll be able to get your hands on all this pink goodness starting this Friday, August 20th.

You can learn more about the new store opening by clicking below. It looks like Seattle is a real city in the eyes of the world now considering we were chosen to have the first new permanent Glossier store since the pandemic. If you end up checking it out on opening day, be sure to let us know how many hours you wait in line and of course, tag us in all those pics.
