Edmonton Ghost Tours is dedicated to bringing Edmonton’s past back to life in a thrilling and often exhilarating new way. Too often, history, especially Canadian history, is presented as being dry and boring. Not for us! We believe that exploring our city’s past is a fun and exciting way to spend an evening either on your own or with family and friends.

What To Expect
OLD STRATHCONA WALKING TOUR – A ghostly walk through Old Strathcona, where guests stop in front of certain buildings, houses, and shops that have reported ghosts, hauntings, murders, and mysteries. They are all true stories that come from area residents and business owners. The tours are hosted by a veteran storyteller with 12 years of experience. Held all summer long, the tours are a great outing for the whole family. The Old Strathcona Ghost Tour is 1 hour long.
UOFA/ GARNEAU HISTORY AND HAUNTED HIKE – A little education can be a ghastly business! The University of Alberta, a center for academics and higher learning, has more than its fair share of ghosts, urban legends, and unexplained events. We will explore the history of the University of Alberta, how it began and the many important historical figures. We will also hear about the U of A’s many ghosts including; the little boy at The Rutherford House, the scientist who is still seen walking the halls of the Power Plant and many, many more. The U of A History & Haunted Hike Tour is 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
HAUNTED TROLLEY TOUR – Join us for a spooky and historical ride on the High-Level Bridge Trolley as we travel through the Old Strathcona area and over the High-level Bridge as the sun sets over Deadmonton. Hear the horrible history of the area and some of Old Strathcona and Edmonton’s most spooky and gruesome ghost stories. Hear about the ghosts that still wander around the Arts Barns, the Spanish Flu victims from the U of A, the ghosts from the original construction of the High-level Bridge and many more deadly tails.
HAUNTED PUB WALK TOUR – Join us for a Haunted Pub Walk in historic Old Strathcona, as we weave our way through the dark streets and back alleys of Old Strathcona visiting 2 haunted pubs on this 1.5-hour walking adventure visiting the areas most unique and “best hidden” pubs. You will hear about the history of the pub, the building and the true ghostly and non-ghostly tales of hauntings, murder, mystery, love & more.
