This wintery Ontario town is known as the “ice fishing capital”

Lake Simcoe is considered a natural gem in Georgina, Ontario. It’s so cherished that in the winter, it is known for its ice fishing and the town becomes a winter playground filled with hiking trails and scenic views.

If you’re coming from the GTA, Georgina is about one hour’s drive north, located on the south shores of Lake Simcoe.
