Put on your dancing shoes, Toronto! Our city is getting an exciting Garba Night celebration this October.

Put on by the Gerrard India Bazaar BIA, the event promises to be a fun-filled evening of music and dance.

It’s a free event that will run all evening long on October 21st, 2023.

This celebration is a Gujarati tradition and involves energetic music, a joyful style of dancing, vibrant clothing, and of course, delicious food.

It is part of the annual Hindu holiday Navaratri, which honours the goddess Durga and is celebrated as a nine-day festival.

All are invited to join the fun, witness the incredible folk dancing and learn all about this significant holiday.
