One of our favourite trends of the last year was insanely fluffy pancakes. People were like yo, these flat things are no fun. Let’s make them 500% thicker and fluffier! One of our favourite spots for these thicc cakes is Fuwa Fuwa, and there’s good news when it comes to them!
The Japanese soufflé pancake shop has just soft-opened its new location at Square One Shopping Centre. That means all you Sauga folk can get your hands on the trendiest pancakes in the GTA. Trendy pancakes. We never thought we’d say such a thing.

The menu has the classic mega pancakes with tons of delicious toppings. We’re really into the tiramisu ones, but we definitely recommend the strawberry pancake with chocolate sauce as well.
You can never, ever go wrong with the signature pancake either. All of them are light as air. Wait, does that mean we can eat two plates? Do these things even take up any room in our stomachs?
