The screen, picture quality, sound, colour, and contrast are enhanced to make you feel like you’re actually immersed in the film.

Asteroid Hunters: The IMAX Experience will be playing from July 1 to July 3 at 2 p.m., and The Last Glaciers: The IMAX Experience will run from July 1 to 3 at 5 p.m.

“Asteroid Hunters takes you into deep space for a look at asteroids, their cosmic origins and the potential threat they pose to our world,” according to the description by the Ontario Science Centre.

The Last Glaciers is described as “the most comprehensive film ever produced about the relationship between climate change, mountain environments, and glaciers.”

To get your free tickets, all you have to do is select your film and preferred time on the Ontario Place website, then head to the checkout.

While you’re there, you can have some fun at the brand new inflatable water park, the biggest of its kind in Ontario.
