A new challenger has entered the breakfast area! And to celebrate, Wendy’s locations across Canada are offering free coffee all month long. Like, actually free coffee, not some ‘with purchase’ or ‘for select customers’ kind of twist. Here’s why they’re doing it.

Turns out, today (Monday, May 2nd) marks the launch of Wendy’s new breakfast menu around the country. And they’re coming out swinging, with items on the menu including options like the ‘Breakfast Baconator’ and the ‘Frosty-ccino’. Honestly, we’re going to try both sooner or later.

Especially with the whole free coffee thing. From now until May 29th, participating locations will be giving away cups of their new signature roast blend “uniquely crafted for Canadian customers.” No purchase is necessary, but of course, the cap is one cup of coffee per customer, per day.
