A new bus service just launched in Canada, and it is still offering fares under $10 this week. FlixBus officially began domestic service today, April 7.

Besides its express route from Toronto to Ottawa, it will also have a Niagara Falls-Toronto line including a stop in St. Catharines, as well as a more comprehensive local line with stops including Waterloo (University of Waterloo), Kitchener (Downtown), Guelph, Mississauga and Toronto.

Initially, as a special offer for Canada, FlixBus said it will run a special $4.99 fares until April 6, but it looks like you can still get those prices right now.

Looking at the fares on launch day, trips to Ottawa from Toronto later this April are still showing the $4.99 oneway fare.

According to the company, its new buses offer free WiFi, power outlets at every seat, and has a FlixBus App for booking.

As for its departures, the Ottawa-Toronto will run Thursday-Monday with one trip in each direction per day, while Niagara Falls-Toronto and Waterloo-Toronto will run daily service in each direction, with service doubled on Thursdays-Mondays.
