This Ontario park has a river that flows through towering bluffs

Per Ontario Parks, there is a beautiful sandy beach located in the day-use area of the park. It’s located along the shores of Round Lake.

Hit the ground running as you explore over 10 km of hiking trails that lead to beautiful scenic views, bluffs, and more. According to Ontario Parks, the “must do” hiking trail here is the Fire Tower Trail.

This 4.1 km adventure guides you through mature forests, boardwalks, and rocky ridges.

Here you can catch a great view of Amber Lake and the bright fall colours that take over its forests, and also pass by a historic Fire Tower.

To top it off, after a pretty challenging climb, it’ll lead you to a fantastic view of Stormy Lake atop a 100-meter bluff. You can explore the other trails and check out the Ontario Parks map here.

It’s a sight to see and one worth your while.

So plan your next weekend trip to Restoule Provincial Park. You’ll be glad you did.
