We’re more than halfway through summer, and the festivals are still going strong! Taste of Manila is back for its 11th edition this weekend and they’re promising to be bigger and better than ever.
Organized by the nonprofit group, Society of Philippine Artists, Recreation and Community (SPARC), Taste of Manila 2024 will take over a piece of Bathurst Street at the corner of Wilson Avenue.
The beloved festival kicks off on August 17th and continues on the 18th for two full days of fun.
“The much-anticipated Taste of Manila celebration is back, and this year promises to be BIGGER, BETTER, and more DIVERSE than ever before,” state organizers.
“With a record-breaking attendance of over 500,000 people last year, the event has become a staple in the cultural calendar, drawing attendees from all corners of Canada, from New Brunswick to Vancouver.”
This year, you can expect Alden Richards, Asia’s Multimedia Star and Boobay, a top comedian and performer, who will entertain the crowds at the festival.
As usual, you can expect food, local vendors, and lots of entertainment.
The event is free to attend so mark your calendars and get ready. It’s about to be a tasty weekend!
