Sunday is a big day! Soccer representatives from Canada, the United States and Mexico along with FIFA will be announcing on Sunday, February 4th the official match schedule of the 2026 World Cup, including what matches will be coming to Vancouver. Here’s what we know so far.

Vancouver is set to be one of the hosts of the 2026 World Cup in Canada along with Toronto. The other counterparts of the tournament are the United States and Mexico.

The broadcast of the announcement will be available live at 12:00 PM on TSN, CTV and RDS platforms and FIFA’s digital and social platforms.

The 30-minute cast will reveal major schedule details including where the 104 matches will take place, the location of the tournament’s opening match, details of the first match in each host country, the Group-Stage locations for each host country’s national team and the venue for the awaited FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19th, 2026.

This is the first time that FIFA Men’s World Cup matches will be played on Canadian soil as the tournament is watched by billions of people around the world, putting a global spotlight on BC, and BC Place where the matches will be held.
