Popular anthology series ‘Fargo’ is looking for extras in Calgary & here’s how you can apply

Whether you’re hoping to make a break for the film industry or just want to play among the stars, get those headshots ready because, Fargo, is casting in Calgary right now and you could soon find yourself alongside some major names!

Starring Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Top Gun: Maverick), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) and Joe Keery (Stranger Things), the popular anthology series is back in Alberta for its highly anticipated 5th season and are on the hunt for extras in the area.

As confirmed by non-for-profit organization, Keep Alberta Rolling, showrunners are looking for men, women and children of all ethnicities between the ages of 6-90 years old.

Those interested in answering the Fargo casting call in Calgary must be available between now and April of 2023 and are asked to submit a recent photo and their full contact to fargoextras@gmail.com sooner rather than later.

As of right now, we know very little about the plot, but we do know that it’ll be a joy to watch our province in all its snowy glory on the small screen again.

Calgary, of course, is no stranger to being featured in movies or TV shows and is actually pretty familiar to those at the FX Network – where Fargo is rumoured to premiere next spring.
