Family Day is just around the corner, which means we have a long weekend to look forward to and start planning for. So with that in mind, here are 8 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this Family Day (Monday, February 20th).

If you visited the Imagine Van Gogh exhibit at the Vancouver Convention Centre last year, you’ve already had a taste of the incredible post-Impressionist art that’s making its way back to Metro Van. Only this year, visitors will get the chance to fully immerse themselves in the Beyond Van Gogh experience.

What’s in store? Over 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s greatest works, transformed into a three-dimensional, multi-sensory exhibit. The experience will bring a new life to classic masterpieces like “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” “Café Terrace at Night,” and much more.

Where: 17798 62 Avenue, Surrey

Meet some celebs at the Vancouver Fan Expo

Combining everything from movie and TV stars, to voice actors, to major names in the gaming world, FAN EXPO is a celebration of practically every element of pop culture. After a grand return last year, the expo is back to keep the good times rolling. Whether you’re an avid Harry Potter fan, more into Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, or a fan of all three – FAN EXPO has something for nearly every franchise
