Get ready, afternoon tea lovers, because Vancouver’s Notch8 is introducing its next themed afternoon tea experience soon. And fall lovers are getting a delicious new twist on the season.
The newly imagined Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea service is inspired by the changing seasons and includes a variety of sweet and savoury treats, courtesy of Head Chef Danai Hongwanishkul. From the quintessential Butternut Squash Tart to the fluffy cinnamon sugar maple scones, to unique bites like the Mushroom and Thyme puff-pastry pinwheel – there’s something for everyone here.
Oh, and some tasty Pumpkin Profiteroles (cream puffs) to go around!
As for the sips, Assistant General Manager Steve Hagan has designed a selection of feature cocktails exclusive to the afternoon tea service. Highlights include the PSL Martini featuring vodka, Kahlúa, pumpkin spice cream, and espresso, and the Harvest Moon Honey, which contains refreshing cranberry gin, lemon, spiced honey, and honeycomb sugar.
Guests can also sip on the luxurious Orchard Breeze, which is sure to warm you up with bourbon, apple cider, ginger, lemon, bitters, and a splash of soda.
