The eighth annual Fall for Dance North is coming back to Toronto for captivating in-person performances. The lineup is set and tickets are on sale.
The dance festival makes a return starting September 17, with a long lineup featuring “multidisciplinary mixed” and full-length dance performances, live musical arrangements, and a new dance film series.
This year, the festival will have its full-length and double-bill presentations both indoors and outdoors. Best of both worlds!

The event includes over 15 world premieres at six venues in Toronto thanks to the hard work of more than 200 dancers, choreographers, directors, and musicians across the country.
Expect outdoor shows like a juggling, contemporary circus and live music, tap dance, hula, ballet, and an Indigenous focus, with a full-length program by Indigenous choreographer Jera Wolfe.
There will also be a variety of free in-person and digital ancillary events, according to the fest. This includes the third season of the FFDN podcast Mambo, a social dance evening with a panel, a discussion on jazz dance at Union Station, a free concert series at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts with select artists from Indigenous Enterprise, and more.
Ticking pricing starts at $15 so if you love the world of dance, you don’t want to miss out on these festivities.
