Alberta is getting a new adventure park and its mini golf course is now open

A new adventure park in central Alberta has opened its doors, giving guests a first look at its mini golf course, with more attractions still on the way.

Sylvan Adventure Park took to Facebook on Aug. 20, 2026, to announce the park’s official opening.

“We’re open, well, partially! We’re excited to officially welcome you to Sylvan Adventure Park for Mini Golf!” the post read.

Visitors can now stop by the adventure park and enjoy its 18-hole mini golf course from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. The park’s concession is also open, offering both food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options.

While only the mini golf portion of the adventure park is currently open, many more attractions are in the works and slated to open soon.

Anyone looking for a thrill will be excited to know high-speed go-karts are on the way, with the site offering a 500-foot kids track and a quarter-mile-long adult track.

Digland is another attraction currently in the works, where visitors of all ages will get the chance to get behind the controls of a real mini excavator and dig around in the dirt.

The park is also set to feature a fishing pond stocked with more than 5,000 rainbow trout, making it the perfect place for fishing lovers looking to cast a line.
