Another sky-high hangout is opening in the city. Evangeline at Ace Hotel Toronto is an all-season rooftop bar and lounge that will welcome the public through its doors this Friday, October 21st.

Evangeline is located on the 14th floor of the new hotel, offering panoramic golden-hour views and a cozy atmosphere with two roaring fireplaces.

“With energy swinging from sunset cooldowns to late night revelry, Evangeline celebrates creativity through a keen eye for curation — drinks, bites, sounds and sights,” the description says.

The bar is named after the first feature film out of Canada and the overall vibe is inspired by the creativity of the film industry.

You’ll be surrounded by a lush display of plants and Canadian artwork as you sit back and enjoy the view from indoors in the colder months, and on the southwest-facing rooftop deck in the warmer months.

In addition to craft cocktails, local beers, wine by the glass, and sparkling bottles, the “cocktail party-inspired” menu features a variety of tasty bites and shareable dishes.

Some of the highlights include charcuterie, chips & dip, ’nduja-stuffed olives with halloumi, shrimp cocktail, and freshly shucked oysters.

Evangeline will also team up with DJs, record labels, and dance party producers to host a series of events throughout the year that will be open to everyone.

Also open at the new Ace Hotel is Alder, a sophisticated yet warm dining destination that offers seasonal fare made by award-winning Chef Patrick Kriss.

Toronto has become a hot spot for buzzworthy hotels and rooftop hangouts, and Evangeline is worth adding to the top of your list.
