A whole new world, a new fantastic point of view! An exhibit called Disney Animation: Immersive Experience is opening soon in Toronto and it’s every bit as magical as it sounds.
The experience is described as “an innovative celebration that takes you inside the greatest films of Walt Disney Animation Studios, from their very earliest, groundbreaking features to the beloved hit movies of today.”
Disney has teamed up with Lighthouse Immersive, who brought us Immersive Van Gogh, Immersive Klimt, King Tut: Magic Journey To The Light, and more.

The event will premiere in Toronto on December 21st and then travel across the United States and other areas of the world within the next year.
Tickets go on sale online this Wednesday, October 19th at 10:30 AM EST.
You’ll get to see Disney films old and new come to life all around you, including Encanto, Zootopia, Frozen, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Pinocchio.
Prepare to be immersed in the music and artistry that made these beloved animations as iconic as they are today.
“I am confident this program will give our guests the opportunity to be engulfed in the world of Disney, making them feel like they’re standing next to their favorite characters and seeing the world through their eyes,” Lighthouse Immersive founder Corey Ross in a press release.
“Just imagine journeying through Zootopia with Judy Hopps, diving to the ocean floor with Ariel, flying on a magic carpet with Aladdin, and stepping into Casita with Mirabel and the family Madrigal. This is where the Disney Animation: Immersive Experience will take you.”
Immersive experiences are nothing new to us locals, but this is unlike anything we’ve seen yet.
It looks like the Magic Kingdom will be brought right to us this winter, and we can’t wait!
