We’ll take any opportunity we can to get out and about in the autumn- but admittedly, we anticipate some more than others. This weekend, check the Saskatoon Farm Fall Fair, a cozy, weather-appropriate event that is sure to leave you in a pumpkin spice state of mind.

Located 20 minutes from Calgary’s city centre, The Saskatoon Farm is an absolute gem of a destination and this year – they’re doing things bigger than ever.

Complete with tractor rides, live music, an animal pen, games face painting and food trucks, their first-ever fall fair will have fun for the entire family… especially the pie lovers.

In addition to everything we mentioned above, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a slice, or two… or 10 of Saskatoon berry dessert as part of their big pie-eating contest.

Think you have what it takes to enter? Contestants who can crush more pies than everyone else will win a $200 gift card as long as they’re able to hold it down for 5 minutes. Good luck.

If you’d like to check out this adorable (and delicious) two-day event, admission will cost you $5 per adult or $2 per child.

Check it out, friends! and enjoy.
