After months of waiting, it looks like Edmonton is once again ready to open public golf courses and driving ranges around the city. This morning, the City announced that Victoria Driving Range will be opening this Friday! And, we can only assume that municipal golf courses aren’t far behind.
Barring a couple of tough days, Alberta has had a pretty darn warm spring. In fact, some golf courses around the province opened last weekend to the public. We have a feeling that Alberta’s golfers are more than ready to hit the links, following a shortened season last year.

The Edmonton Valley Zoo officially opens this week!
The wait is over! Victoria Driving Range opens for the season this Friday, March 26 at 10:30am.
Start of season hours are 10:30am – 6:30pm.

It’s hard to beat Edmonton’s courses, though, which offer great layouts for all skill levels and very reasonable prices. But, we’re happy to hit a few balls at the driving range while we wait for them to open. After all, we don’t want to be holding anyone up on opening day.
