There’s a huge dumpling crawl coming to East Vancouver & here’s what you can eat

If you’re a fan of dumplings and going on food crawls, then you’ll want to tune into this delicious event happening in East Vancouver this month. Part of this year’s Dine Out Festival, the East Van Dumpling Fest Crawl takes participants on a journey to four participating restaurants serving dumpling varieties from across the globe.

From gyoza to gnocchi, to Nepalese momos and Mexican tamales, there will be plenty of new flavours to discover at this year’s festival.

Below are the participating restaurants at the 2024 East Van Dumpling Fest Crawl:

  • Vivace on the Drive (1728 Commercial Drive) – Italian/European
  • Maizal (2815 Main Street) – Mexican
  • Di Olvia Tasting Bar (2632 East Hastings Street – Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar Tastings Bar
  • Momo Hut (6372 Fraser Street) – Nepalese and Himalayan

The East Van dumpling crawl will take place at Grandview Park on Wednesday, January 17th from 6 to 10 pm.

Visitors can also visit each of the participating restaurants at their leisure by car or transit.
