Views on views on views! Climb your way to the top of the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower and feast your eyes on the most breathtaking vistas you’ve ever seen, this fall.

This observation deck towers a whopping 465 feet above Dorset in the beautiful Lake of Bays region.

The original structure was used as a fire tower until 1961 but has since been converted into an observation tower that provides 360-degree views of treetops and glistening lake water.

The Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower attracts over 60,000 visitors each year and offers stunning panoramas from the top as well as the ground level.

The surrounding Tower Park and trail are also popular places to visit — dogs are welcome on leash, but cannot be taken up to the top.

In addition to the hiking trail, there are also picnic shelters, a gift shop, and a tourist info kiosk to help you make the most of your visit.

It is open seasonally for visiting, and after October 30th its opening hours will depend on the weather.
