Vancouver foodies know the name ‘Dished’ like the back of their hand, and we’ve got some exciting news to share about the publication’s newest venture. Hint: It involves filling your stomach with some of the best eats in town!
This summer, Canadian digital publication Daily Hive is launching its first-ever food truck festival, complete with 18 participating food trucks, live music, and a BC Shop Local Market with artisan vendors to peruse.
Created in collaboration with the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival (GVFTF), the festival marks the brand’s expansion into “IRL experiential events,” with more opportunities to connect with the Vancouver community to come.
“We are so excited to be serving up a free and fantastic food truck festival to all the foodies of Vancouver,” says Darcy Matheson, Daily Hive’s Editor in Chief. “Dished is already such an intrinsic part of the city’s exciting food scene. Making the leap into physical events as a way to create community and connection with our audience was a logical – and very exciting – next step for Dished.”
