The summer season is nearing its end, but there’s plenty to look forward to in the coming months! Whether you’ve just started making autumn plans or have begun checking your naughty or nice list, it’s never too early to plan ahead. Heck, why not gear up for the end of daylight saving time?

When does Daylight Saving end in 2024?

It’s not something that most people look forward to, but it’s tradition for most Canadians.

This year, the dreaded daylight saving time started on March 10th and gave us more time to enjoy the sun.

Now that leaves have started to change colour, however, we can anticipate another stove clock update.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, Canadians who do recognize DST should set a reminder to adjust their watch and microwave on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at 2 am local time.

By doing this, we’ll all have gained one hour and will see the sunrise (and sunset) earlier than the day before.

Don’t love the mad dash?

Luckily, most devices—like your phones and TVs will reset on their own—so you won’t have to stress too much!

We may not enjoy doing it, but you’ll adjust quickly—plus, you won’t have to do it again until Sunday, March 9th, 2025!

In the meantime, enjoy your sleep schedule Canada!

November will be here soon enough.
