The Beckhams can’t stay away from Ontario’s cottage country! Locals were probably not expecting to see David Beckham and Austin Butler in Muskoka this past weekend, but then again, the “Hamptons of the north” attracts all kinds of rich and famous visitors.

The celebs were accompanied by the rest of the Beckham family as they paused their fun-filled Canadian vacation to help drivers safely bypass a fallen tree on the road.

Victoria Beckham posted a video of David, their kids, and Austin Butler holding the tree above their heads so that cars could pass underneath it.

“Excellent, nice work boys,” she said encouragingly.

Victoria posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram of the family enjoying some water sports on the Muskoka lakes.

“The most perfect few days in Muskoka with beautiful friends,” she wrote in the caption.

The friends that the Beckhams stayed with appeared to be the Salter family.

Jamie Salter is the Founder and CEO of Authentic Brands Group, the company that David Beckham partnered with last year to co-own and manage his brand.

This is the second summer in a row that the famous family has vacationed at the Salter cottage.

Last August, the Salters hosted the Beckhams, as well as other famous guests — Mark Wahlberg, Rande Gerber, and NHL legend Tie Domi.

This time around, the visitors included Victoria Beckham, David Beckham, and Austin Butler, as well as the Beckham kids.

Muskoka seems to hold a special place in the hearts of many stars.

This past Canada Day, Simu Liu visited his beloved Muskoka getaway with his girlfriend, which he said has been his “safe haven for over a decade.”

As locals ourselves, we can attest that Ontario’s cottage country in the summertime has a magical quality to it.
