It’s a double whammy of entertainment news! Today, Netflix announced that none other than Dan Levy is the latest cast member on its hit show Sex Education. And while details are slim, it’s safe to say people are pretty excited about it.
Levy, of course, is known for his breakout role as David Rose on Schitt’s Creek, which set a new record for Emmy wins in a single season for a comedy. Since then, he’s focused more on the writing side on things, and even signed a deal for multiple projects with Netflix back in September, 2021.

On the other hand, Sex Education has enjoyed continuously positive reviews from critics, alongside dozens of nominations. Most notably, Aimee Lou Wood (who plays the character Aimee Gibbs in the show) earned a BAFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance after Season 2. Will Dan Levy bring even more awards to Sex Education next season? We can only hope!
Not much more is known, but Levy will be joining the cast as ‘Mr. Molloy’, who is ostensibly a new teacher at the school the characters attend. As for production, don’t be expecting anything soon, but we will keep you updated if any other fun news about the show comes out!
