If there’s one thing we simply cannot get enough of, it’s a Canadian sweetheart. We guess his stunning Met Gala look was just the warmup this week, because Netflix has announced a new partnership with Dan Levy! What’s more, the gears are already turning for his first project.
Levy’s first plan of action? He’s going to write, produce, direct and star in a yet-to-be-named romantic comedy. But, he won’t be alone, as he’ll get some help from the production company SISTER, who is behind, among other projects, the lauded Chernobyl series.

And honestly, we’d be a lot more worried if Schitt’s Creek didn’t become the sensation that it deserves to be. After all, he became the first person ever to win in 4 major categories (acting, directing, writing, producing) in a single year. Go off Mr. Levy, we’re sure that whatever you decide to make will be fantastic.
Following this project, Levy will continue on with a new series for Netflix, with that kicking off in early 2022. One’s thing for certain, we’re going to see a lot more of this Canadian treasure in the coming years! Personally, we can’t wait to see it happen.
Ah, screw it, it’s time to restart Schitt’s Creek again.
