The Canadian Revenue Agency is hiring for a wide range of jobs in BC

On the active job hunt? The Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) is hiring across the province right now, and if you’re looking for work in administration, planning, budgeting, human resources, communications, or finance – it’s worth taking a look!

Responsible for administering tax, benefits, and related programs, the CRA works to protect Canada’s tax base and deliver essential government programs for the economic and social well-being of Canadians.

Currently, the agency is hiring for a wide range of jobs in the SP-005 category, which is Western Canada’s “services and programs” division.

Job seekers in Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria, Penticton, Kelowna, and Prince George can apply now – as well as any other candidates willing to relocate.

Best of all? No experience is required at the prerequisite stage, according to the job listing. However, note that preference may be given to applicants with experience in public practice or industry for 12 consecutive months within the past three years.

Salary & benefits

As one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada, there are multiple draws to working at the CRA. Employees benefit from flexibility and professional support, a diverse and inclusive workforce, and salary transparency.

According to Mediacorp Canada Inc., the CRA offers employees a defined benefit pension plan, tuition subsidies, “generous parental leave,” and health plan premiums – to name a few benefits.

In terms of the salary for SP-005 positions, applicants can expect a range of $69,211 to $77,900.
