Great news, sweet treat aficionados! Vancouver’s beloved coffee shop pop-up Cowdog is finally getting a spot of its own, and it soft opens this weekend!
Known for its refreshing iced matcha sips, hojicha, freshly-baked caneles, and array of espresso beverages, Cowdog has become the cafe pick of the summer, with long lines of hopefuls gathering every Sunday and Monday since late January – when the cafe would pop up at Dear Gus.
Now, Cowdog will have its own space to call home at 3720 Oak Street, in the spot formerly occupied by Aroom Cafe. So if you’re looking to cool down with one of their famous iced Strawberry Matcha Lattes, you’re in luck.
“There have already been three cafes in this exact same spot, which is not really ideal,” says Co-owner Joe Lee in an Instagram announcement. “But we feel pretty good, we’ve had a lot of love and support from our community during our pop-ups.”
