8 countries where the fully vaccinated can travel once more

Canada isn’t the only country to dial back entry requirements. If you’re thinking that travel is in the cards this summer, you’ll be happy to know that some top destination countries around the world are once again welcoming fully vaccinated travellers. Let’s get down to business!

Here are some amazing countries where the fully vaccinated can travel once more.

Australia

While requirements change region to region, Australia is back open! You’ll need to complete a Digital Passenger Declaration prior to your trip, which includes either a PCR or an antigen test result.

New Zealand

Full disclosure, we messed up the reopening plan for New Zealand on our first run through. Turns out, ‘visa waiver visitors’ (including Canadians!) can enter the country for non-essential travel starting on May 1st, so long as they self-test on arrival!

The Philippines

Like Australia, rules vary from region to region, but travel is available! There’s a checklist of requirements to complete before arrival, including a negative PCR/Antigen test prior to departure, as well as travel insurance (should you become sick during your visit).

Bali

Similar to The Philippines, since you’ll need travel insurance to fly here. What’s more, travellers will have to undergo testing both on arrival and after 3 days, alongside pre-arrival testing requirements. But hey, if you’re staying a few weeks, that’s not so bad.

Portugal

One of Europe’s most beloved tourism countries is open once more! Canada’s also one of the few countries allowed for unscrutinized non-essential travel, which is music to our ears. However, there are still a couple of requirements to keep in mind prior to your visit.

Norway

Feeling like northern Europe is the move instead? Norway is one of the most open countries on this list, having lifted ALL requirements (even vaccination status) back in February. Could it be fjord time? Maybe.

Morocco

A far cry from Norway, Morocco has reopened for visitors! The plan here is actually similar to Canada, as the country requires a vaccination pass, a negative test result (PCR only), and could test you randomly upon arrival.

South Korea

Last but certainly not least, we’ve got South Korea. Offering both incredible culture and stunning views, South Korea is a catch all for practically all kinds of travellers. Quarantine is no longer needed, but you are required to submit your vaccine history through their Q-CODE system.

Alright travel lovers, those are some countries where the fully vaccinated can travel once more! Honestly, we’re leaning towards Norway or Morocco- how about you?
