Merry and scary: There’s a Christmas-themed haunted house in Metro Vancouver

In case you didn’t get enough of spooky season, Cougar Creek’s House of Horrors is back with “A Very Creepy Christmas” to give Vancouverites the chance to relive the haunted house experience before the year’s end. If you’re looking for something fun to mix in with holiday lights, pop-up bars, and markets, this is it.

“A Very Creepy Christmas” features two Christmas-themed “haunts”: The Kaverns of Krampus and Hotel Frozen Terror.

The former takes guests to the home of the cranky, creepy Krampus, whose hatred for Christmas rivals even the Grinch. Visitors are urged to ignore the “keep out” signs and do their best not to get eaten.

The latter is where holiday festivities meet disaster. A motel Christmas party has gone terribly wrong – and guests are going to have to find out the hard way why their rooms were all free.
