It might sound unreal but it’s really happening. You can enjoy a few good drinks, socialize, have a fun time with your best buds or your bae AND know more about cosmos, all at once. And we have H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Cosmic Nights event to thank for it.

Now, before you go all ‘that’s for kids” on us, just hear us out. Sure, the centre is an absolutely mesmerizing place for the adorable little ones. But they also have an ongoing evening series for us grown-ups— Cosmic Nights.
ICYMI, Cosmic Nights is a series that deep dives into the hottest topics of astronomy and space exploration. It’s the Space Centre’s way of letting you experience outer space without actually leaving the ground.

The good news is that the centre is hosting yet another one of these fun evenings of science and socializing on Thursday, November, 17th, 2022. The topic: Quantum Cosmology. Intriguing, eh!
You can expect a custom planetarium show, guest lecturer and science demonstrations. And you can experience all that while cracking open a cold one (or 3) from the Cosmic Courtyard.
Just FYI, by grown-ups, we meant everyone 19 and north.
So, if you want to spruce up your ‘post-work drinks with friends’ routine, H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is the place to be. The guest talk will also be streamed via Zoom, in case, you’d rather watch it cozying up on the couch with your S.O.
