We’ve got travel FOMO. Well, we’ve always got travel FOMO. Maybe this week we thought we’ll get out of town a bit to this incredible Airbnb in Washington. Wanna come to the San Juan Islands?
Welcome to Ralstin House: A Modern Home on Guemes Island, WA.
First of all, it feels completely private out here. It’s just you and the forest and us sneaking into bed to cuddle you at night. Talk about peace and quiet. But beyond that, in case you haven’t noticed, it’s pretty beautiful.

You won’t have to go too far to get here, but it feels miles away. Located right across the water from Anacortes on Guemes Island, it’s about an hour from Seattle and a quick 8-minute ferry. Perfect if you’re like us and chronically forget to pack a toothbrush.
This custom-built modern home has a completely open floorplan. Bring some friends, your SO, or go alone. We also think this would be an excellent place to stay if you’re needing to get some creative work done. Want to oil paint a landscape? Get into a crochet project? Work on a novel? We respect your drive, and we recommend you try it here.
And if you need something to do while you’re staying at this lovely home, there’s plenty! The home is a 5-10 minute bike ride to beaches, county parks, hiking trails, 2 island stores and waterfront picnicking and grilling. See? Relaxation awaits you.
We’re packing a bag. So long, Seattle. Well, at least for a few nights!
