Holiday Charity Pop-Up

Concord Park Place is teaming up with Claw & Kitty for a charity holiday event in support of the SickKids Foundation. The event will be a pop-up in North York, transforming the space into a holiday wonderland with claw machines filled with adorable plushies to be won!

The event is completely free to attend, but registering in advance will also get you 3 free tokens to play the games. If you want more, you’ll receive another 3 tokens for every $10 donation, with all proceeds going to the SickKids Foundation.

Last Week’s Fundraiser

The first event took place on Sunday, December 3 at Concord Park Place, with a special morning event exclusive to SickKids patients and their families.

SickKids patients and ambassadors stopped by with their families and left with smiles and arms full of stuffed animals. Concord was proud to donate $10,000 to the SickKids foundation with many generous visitor donations too!

Jasper’s been a SickKids patient since birth. He has multiple conditions: a brain tumour, epilepsy, and issues with his endocrine system. Medically, Jasper is stable, however, he has many longer-lasting side effects from his treatment but did not let it stop him from enjoying the day.

Louise was born with a birthmark covering half her face. She’s been through many challenging laser treatments and often deals with questions from strangers and classmates – but through it all, Louise stays determined and confident.

Nori was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in January 2021 and has spent a lot of time doing tests and scans, chemotherapy, surgery, bone marrow transplants, radiation therapy, and immunotherapy. But her spirit remains high and she’s excited about the holiday season.

The next event will be on Sunday, December 10 and is open to the public from 1 PM to 5 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but you need to register for those free tokens!
