Just in time for hibernation season, the beloved bear-themed coffee house chain from France, Columbus Café & Co, is opening its first “den” in Toronto.

The chain was founded in France back in the 90s and has since opened around 250 locations in France and worldwide.

Described as “gourmet above all,” Columbus Café & Co is popular for its quality-made hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, and buddha bowls.

Coffee enthusiasts will adore the cafe’s organic beans, including the in-house “Barista blend,” which is a premium blend that’s roasted in France.

In 2020, it celebrated the opening of its first North American coffee house in Montreal.

Now, Columbus has set its sights on Ontario with its first location in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The first-ever Columbus Café & Co will open on Tuesday, October 17th at 8 AM.

To celebrate, customers who visit on the day of the opening will be treated to free muffins!

Whether you’re familiar with the chain or are curious to give it a try, this is your perfect opportunity.

And with the cooler days ahead of us, it’s time to do as the bears do — eat well, chill out, and retreat to the den.
