The chain was founded in France back in the 90s.
Since then it has opened around 250 locations in France, Canada, Belgium, Luxembourg, French Polynesia, and Bahrain.
Described as “gourmet above all,” Columbus Café & Co is popular for its quality-made hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, and buddha bowls.
“Each location cultivates the spirit of the French neighbourhood café, the love of good taste, human connections, and authenticity,” says a press release from the chain.
Coffee enthusiasts will adore the cafe’s organic beans, including the in-house “Barista blend,” which is a premium blend that’s roasted in France.
In 2020, it celebrated the opening of its first North American coffee house in Montreal.
So, get excited because you’ll soon be flipping through pages and sipping on French coffee at your local Indigo.
