There’s an exciting new spot for tapas and tequila-fueled cocktails in Calgary & here’s where

It would appear that we have unravelled a new hotspot in town for the Mexican cuisine-loving and tequila-enjoying lot. It goes by the name, Code Agave Social House!

If you remember, we informed you a few days ago about the reopening of the Delta Hotels Calgary Airport In-Terminal. The newly renovated hotel now boasts of modern interior, upgraded amenities, better customer experience AND a brand-new restaurant. And Code Agave Social House happens to be that very restaurant.

The restaurant promises an “exploratory dining experience.” And it more than lives up to the promise. While the main hall serves up classic comfort foods including popular faves like Reuben and Alberta Beef Burger, the bar is where the inventive culinary journey begins.

The bar has an exclusive menu where you’ll spot a line-up of drool-worthy Mexican-inspired tapas. Think Nachos & Queso Dip, Tequila Lime Chicken Tacos and Shrimp Aguachile among others.

And of course, there is an equally mighty curation of tequila-fueled cocktails. As you sip these cocktails, you’ll have no trouble picking out the distinguished taste of one of the most covetable tequilas there is, the El Tequilero. The cocktails are created to specifically highlight El Tequileno’s flavours.

You’ll also find other delights at the bar including neat tequila, mezcal, beer and of course, the traditional tequila-chaser, Sangrita.

While their menu might be global, their ingredients are as local as it gets. That explains the fresh you can taste in their food and cocktails.

The resto also has a private dining room that can host upto 25 people. Just, in case, you were wondering where you can host your next holiday soiree.

The best part- you indulge in one too many cocktails or simply want to pamper yourself with a staycation, you can just book a room at the hotel above. How convenient, eh?
