Reminder: Cirque du Soleil is coming back to Edmonton next week

Like Monster Jam, it’s been a while since Cirque du Soleil has touched down in Edmonton. So, finding out that they’re bringing a show to the city this summer is music to our ears! Heads up though- you won’t have much time to see it.

Originally announced in April, Cirque du Soleil has chosen ‘OVO’ (Portuguese for ‘Egg’) to show off this go around. The show, which features dozens of the world’s most spectacular performers, is based around the lives of ‘insects’ as they “work, play, fight and look for love” in their stunning world.

The show has already toured around the world, touching down in 26 different countries and over 100 cities. Its stop in Edmonton will be brief, though- just eight performances are scheduled between July 13th and 17th. Yeah, you’re definitely going to want so set a date aside for this one.

Our advice? Hit up your pals, book some tickets, and make a whole night of it! Maybe even get out to a patio before or after to have more than a few hours of fun.

Cirque du Soleil Edmonton

When: July 13th to 17th, 2022
Where: Rogers Place, 10220 104 Avenue NW
