It’s almost time to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit! Chinatown is hosting a Lunar New Year celebration in Toronto and you won’t want to miss it.

The event will be held on January 21st and 22nd. There will be all kinds of things to see and do, including cultural performances, activities, booths, and tasty food.

Some of the featured attractions are the Lion Dance, Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Calligraphy, Zodiac Fortune Telling, God of Fortune, and a Lucky Draw.

Plus, you can participate in a Mahjong King Competition with multiple cash prizes you can win. The champion will be given a trophy and a $500 cash prize.

The registration fee is $20 and there are only 64 participants permitted, so if you want to join the competition, you better sign up ASAP!

Be sure to bring your appetite as this event will feature traditional Chinese New Year cooking.
