Heyo, flower friends! Alongside the upcoming festival in the Okanagan, another is just around the corner! Today, the Chilliwack Tulip Festival announced its 2022 season, and it’s kicking off next week! Here’s what to know about it before it arrives.

Billed as the largest flower festival in the province, the Chilliwack Tulip Festival has been delighting visitors for over 15 years. Spread across some 20 acres, the fest showcases 30 different varieties of tulips and millions of actual flowers to take in. The estimate for this year? 9 million (!!).

As if that wasn’t enough, know that the festival will also have everything from photo ops (swings, platforms… even a convertible from the 50s) as well as lawn games to enjoy. If you’re feeling peckish, then you grab buy some refreshments or see which food trucks are on-site that day.

Then, before you leave, make sure to check out the Flower Shop. In addition to fresh tulips available for purchase, you’ll also be able to buy some souvenirs, seeds, and a frozen treat for your drive own.

If that sounds like a lovely day trip idea to you, then get to planning, folks!
