Chick-fil-A fans, you’re not ready for this! The American-based fried chicken chain has huge plans for Canada and it looks like they’re ready to expand to 20 new locations.

In an announcement on Wednesday, Chick-fil-A shared that they are ready to quickly grow their Canadian footprint by 2025. As part of its long-term investment in the country, Ontario will see more locations pop up in the next few years.

We already know that new locations will soon open in Vaughan and in the Toronto Eaton Centre. But it looks like Barrie will be getting a storefront, Mississauga’s Square One, and Shops at Don Mills, too. Eager fans in Ottawa will also get a taste of its own location in the near future.

Other Canadian markets include Alberta as well so keep an eye out on that! Once they open the 20 stores by 2025, Chick-fil-A plans to open seven to 10 restaurants every year after that.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to serve more guests and to invest in more communities across the country,” said Anita Costello, Chief International Officer.

“Canadians can look forward to an authentic Chick-fil-A experience at each of our locations: delicious food prepared with high-quality ingredients served with our signature hospitality.”

And with openings come more jobs! About 80 to 120 additional employees at each new location are expected to be hired.
