Oh, yes, the newest offering by the folks behind Craft Beer Market, Central Taps & Food, the trendy restaurant and bar nestled in the heart of Beltline, is celebrating its first anniversary. And they are doing it in style with an irresistible vibe, delectable food and now a fresh lineup of crushable cocktails.
The resto-bar opened to much fanfare last year and so, far they have more than lived up to the hype. Courtesy of the inviting atmosphere drenched in natural light and buzzing with positive vibes. It’s a go-to spot for Calgarians to unwind and indulge in great grubs and delightful drinks. And now, there’s more of these to relish!
There are four new additions to their menu that might just become your sip of the summer. Get ready to sip on some tantalizing concoctions like the Frozen Tropical Paloma, Lavender Haze and Passion Tea Refresher. There is also a zero-proof option they cleverly named, Grapefruit No-Jito. These libations are the perfect companions for a sunny day on their amazing patio or for a fun night out with friends.

If you’ve been there, you already know this. But for those who missed it, Central Taps & Food is in no way an extension of Craft Beer Market. Sure, it is brought by the same masterminds. But the place has its own vibrant and unique character, one marked by an intimate setting and an interestingly eclectic menu.

Don’t let the name fool you! Central Taps & Food is NOT a beer hall. Of course, you will find a few delicious local craft beers. But their cocktail game is what truly sets them apart. Interestingly, some of these libations are conveniently poured straight from the taps. So, you can expect consistent quality and swift service that keeps the good times flowing.

Coming to their eclectic menu, Chef Mike Pigot outdid himself in curating a multi-cuisine menu. Forget about limiting yourself to one cuisine – here, you can enjoy delicious pizza and savoury ramen under the same roof! It basically features everything you’d want with your fun drinking sesh. There are nachos, tacos and enchiladas. There are cheeseburgers, breakfast sandwiches and wings. And then there are bao buns, teriyaki salmon bowl and Tokyo tuna salad.
