If paella is your favourite Spanish dish, we’ve got great news for you. Vancouver’s newest Spanish dining concept, Casa Molina, has officially opened its doors in the heart of Mount Pleasant, and we can’t wait to check it out!
The restaurant announced its soft opening on Instagram, along with a couple of details surrounding its first couple of days.
“Given our capacity and menu, we recommend making a reservation, although some walk-ins may be available depending on demand,” reads the caption. “Please remember, this is our soft opening phase, and we appreciate your patience!”
The dining concept is the latest venture of Vancouver’s beloved paella powerhouse, Paella Guys, which formerly existed solely as a catering company. Now, Casa Molina has taken over the charming character house formerly occupied by Mangia Cucina & Bar – allowing Chef Javier Blanc and his team the chance to serve up delicious, authentic Spanish dishes by the dozen.
‘Casa’ meaning ‘house’ in Spanish, the space will retain its cozy home feel, this time reminiscent of the warmth and comfort of a Spanish home.
So there you have it, Vancouver. Run – don’t walk to Casa Molina and give them a proper welcome!
