Vancouver is just under two weeks away from this year’s Carnaval del Sol, AKA the largest Latin American festival in all of the Pacific Northwest! So get ready to experience vibrant music, dance, food, and traditions from across Latin America at Jonathon Rogers Park.

The three-day celebration will feature over 50 immersive activities for guests of all ages to enjoy across 11 distinct plazas, each with its own focus.

This includes a Main Stage with “a fusion of Mexican-inspired flavours and live entertainment,” a Family Plaza with over 120 performing artists, and a workshop-focused Seniors Plaza.

The festival is all about celebrating the richness of Latin American culture by bridging generational gaps and promoting harmony – so bring the whole family for a memorable time together!

“With vigorous music, an exciting beer plaza, a beautiful “Biogarden” and an overall sense of inclusivity, Opening Night promises a night that you won’t soon forget,” reads the website.

In terms of live music and entertainment, guests can expect everything from a Tribute to Selena (by Ivonne Ley) to stand-up shows, to internationally renown artists like Chesca and La Linea.
