Vancouver’s world-famous suspension bridge will soon be an illuminated festive experience

From November to January of every year, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park transforms into the ultimate winter wonderland. Think light tunnels, a glowing forest beneath you, and of course, a changing multi-colour display across the Treetop Adventure’s seven suspended bridges.

Whether you’re looking for a holiday-themed date spot or a place to take the family out this season, Canyon Lights is considered a quintessential wintertime experience for a reason.

Guests can pop into the Trading Post Gift Store for some cocoa and live tunes, and peruse the shop for the perfect gift or memento for their visit. Oh, and take part in this year’s Snow Owl Prowl scavenger hunt, which will enter participants in a contest to win a trip to the Canadian Rockies!

Canyon Lights is also continuing its support of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, with partial proceeds from admissions donated to fire and burn education in schools across BC.

Tickets go on sale at 10 am on Thursday, November 3rd – so mark your calendars & set those reminders. Note that visits are scheduled in 30-minute arrival increments, and tickets must be purchased in advance online.

Canyon Lights will run from Saturday, November 19th to Sunday, January 22nd.

And that’s all we’ve got for now, Vancouver. We’ll check back in soon.
