This Alberta mountain town will soon charge visitors to park on select streets

Canmore is recognized as one of Alberta’s most beautiful places to shop, hike eat and drink – so really, it was only a matter of time until those visiting would have to pay to stay.

As announced on their website, the stunning mountain town will start charging people to park on their streets as the sunny season heats up and tourists become more common than not.

The Canmore paid parking project will remain in effect seven days per week between 8 am and 8 pm once it kicks off in late June and will differ in price depending on the season.
