This Canadian company’s clothing collab with Neopets will hit you right in the nostalgia

The year was 2002, your crush just logged off of MSN and with a half-hour left before dinnertime time, you sign in to your favourite virtual pet website ready to crush a mad game of Hasee Bounce. If you’re anything like us, then this was bliss. Unfortunately, the only thing Euphoric about being an adult 20 years later, is getting to watch Zendaya on the small screen – or at least it was. This week, in collaboration with Neopets, Canadian Company, Cakeworthy launched a clothing line that simultaneously brings us joy and fills us with guilt – because it’s been far too long since we’ve fed our Jubjub

Influenced by bright imagery and comfortable fits, Cakeworthy was founded in 2014 by Ontario resident Brandon Shedden as a way to celebrate pop culture and creativity.

From Disney and Harry Potter to Animal Crossing and now Neopets, this company has worked with nearly everyone – but we’d be lying if we said that this one didn’t hit differently.

Selling flannel shirts with a healthy reminder, backpacks, T-shirts, hoodies and dresses, Cakeworthy’s clothing is definitely not for everyone, but can likely be appreciated by most.

With items ranging from $5.95 to $69.95, pieces are affordable, will fit almost anyone and will no doubt have you in the feelings about the good old days, which is a nice distraction from reality – so check it out. If not to buy, then at least to reminisce. Ahhhh, to be young again.
