Canada’s Wonderland is opening in April & hiring thousands of employees

Spring is inching closer, which means that it’s only a matter of time before we can get back to the warm weather activities we love. And one of our favourite pastimes here in Toronto is a day of fun at Canada’s Wonderland.

The theme park has announced that it will open for the season in late April and is now hiring 4,000 full-time and part-time staff members across all departments.

Wonderland will welcome visitors back on April 30th and release its health and safety protocols closer to the opening day. After last summer’s delayed opening, we can only hope that all goes according to plan this season!

The amusement park is on the hunt for new recruits in all categories, including food service associates, line cooks, lifeguards, ride operators, maintenance, security, guest services, and even on-stage entertainment and roaming musicians.

Wonderland says that in addition to a fun work environment and career growth opportunities, working at the park comes with all kinds of benefits.

According to Wonderland, some of these perks include “free and unlimited use of the park and water park during off hours, free promotional tickets for friends and family, access to exclusive employee events and activities throughout the season, discounts to partnering Ontario attractions, employee discounts on food, merchandise and more.”

All of the open jobs are posted on Canada’s Wonderland’s website.

We may still be in the grip of winter, but before we know it, we’ll be back in our short sleeves at North America’s most thrilling destination for rides and coasters.
