And while the City of Vancouver won’t be celebrating with any fireworks, you can catch some vibrant displays at these free Canada Day celebrations across Metro Vancouver. So let’s dive right in!

Here’s where to catch fireworks on Canada Day (Monday, July 1st) around Vancouver.

Canada Day in Port Coquitlam 

From noon to 10 pm at Port Coquitlam’s Castle Park, there will be an all-day Canada Day celebration with a beverage garden, local food trucks, artisan market vendors, a fireworks display, and much more. So grab your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and get ready to enjoy it all.

Head to Memorial Park in White Rock for another full day of family fun for all ages and free entertainment, presented by Thrifty Foods. Performing artists include The Hip Replacements, En Karma, and fireworks at. 10:15 pm presented by Allure Ventures.

Canada Day Streetfest on Central 

This evening Streetfest in Burnaby commences at 6:30 pm with live music, dancing, family fun, and food trucks, and ends with fireworks at Central Park that run from 10:15 pm to 10:30 pm.

Cost: Free to attend

Canada Day in Coquitlam

Coquitlam’s Canada Day celebration will feature family-friendly performances, activities, food trucks, and lakeside fireworks (at 10 pm) at Town Centre Park – and the celebration is completely free to attend.

Cost: Free admission
